By Airplane

From the airport Saarbrücken-Ensheim take a taxi to Saarland University. It takes approximately 20 minutes and it costs approximately 15 €.

By Car

When using a satellite navigation system please enter the following address: Stuhlsatzenhausweg 3, 66123 Saarbrücken.

When coming from the direction Mannheim or Paris (A6) to Saarland University:
Take the exit St. Ingbert-West and follow the signs “Universität” until the main entrance of the university. The parking area is on the right hand side.

From direction Koblenz/Trier (A1) to Saarland University:
Take the A1 till motorway junction “Saarbrücken”, then take the A8 direction Karlsruhe till motorway junction “Neunkirchen”, and then take A6 direction Saarbrücken. Take the exit St. Ingbert-West and follow the signs “Universität” until the main entrance of the university. The parking area is on the right hand side.

From direction Luxembourg (A620) to Saarland University:
Take the highway A620 till Saarbrücken, and then take exit Wilhelm-Heinrich-Brücke and follow the signs “Universität” until the main entrance of the university. The parking area is on the right hand side.

By Bus and Train

Search for train connections

When arriving at the University Campus please get off the bus at “Universität Mensa”. The ride from the main station, the city centre or from Römerkastell takes about 14-20 minutes. Tickets can be purchased either before the ride at ticket vending machines or directly from the bus driver.
